GE X-ray  Product Detail
Model: DXD 350-II

Specifications:
  • Environment

All ratings and duty cycles given apply at altitudes up to 8,000 feet (2438 m), average relative humidity not exceeding 95%, and maximum ambient temperature not exceeding 100 degrees Farenheit (38 degrees C).

  • Power Requirements

    • Power demand at maximum rating is 45 kVA at 95% power factor; maximum line current is 216 amperes at 208 V. Maximum ratings are obtainable with a line having 6% or less regulation.

    • Absolute limits of voltages are: 190 to 276 volts for 50 or 60 Hz.

    • Daily voltage variations must be within one of the following ranges:

      • 190 to 223 VAC

      • 212 to 245 VAC

      • 227 to 260 VAC

      • 243 to 276 VAC

    • Instantaneous voltage fluctuations caused by loads external to the DXD 350-II should not exceed 2-1/2 percent and should not occur more than 10 times per hour.

  • High Voltage Cable Length

Kilovoltage maximums and accuracy apply when high voltage cable lengths do not exceed 50 feet (15 m) and differences of length between tubes do not exceed 5 feet (1.5m). If it is necessary to exceed limits of cable length, the maximum KVP allowed may be less than 150. KVP reduction may be necessary to prevent exceeding 82 kVP from anode to ground or cathode to ground.

The maximum allowable kVP is determined by actual measurement after the installation is completed. If kVP must be reduced, no attempt should be made to operate the unit above that value.
