It consists of cryostat, an automatic defrost refrigeration chamber, and microtome, a specifically designed machine for cryotechniques. Features: Includes cryostat cabinet, microtome, specimen holder, and knife holder. Cryobar temperature remains constant at -40 degrees C +/- 3 degrees C. Cryostat chamber is thermostatically controlled between ambient and -30 degrees C. Hermetically sealed, double-pane glass sliding door. Stainless steel cryostat chamber automatically defrosts every 24 hours at pre-selected time. Provides sections from 2 to 20u in 2u increments. Dial-type adjustment for rapid fingertip control of section thickness. Knife holder accepts all 120mm knives and may be adjusted for proper cutting edge.
