Finally there is a real solution to simplicity! The LifeWindow 6000 graphic user interface and touch screen, render other monitors overly complex and make navigator knobs and multiple layers of menus a thing of the past. The LifeWindow 6000 was designed from it’s inception to be simple - “Truly User Friendly”. We don’t just say it’s simple; it is simple... because we made it simple. The DigiGas Module is truly fully integrated! Unlike others making this claim, our Gas Module is fully integrated into the LifeWindow 6000 vital signs monitor. When you examine the LifeWindow 6000 with anesthetic agent management there is no Gas Module hanging on the bottom. That is because the Anesthetic Gas Module is truly integrated. You can’t see it because it is integrated inside the monitor. The DigiGas Variable Anesthesia Monitoring module from Digicare Biomedical is designed to measure the five volatile anesthetic gases, nitrous oxide and carbon dioxide. At the heart of the DigiGas function is an innovative gas sensor that employs the very latest in integrated optics technology. The fact that the sensor contains no moving parts makes it extremely robust. A small pump ensures a constant suction flow of 150 ml/min for the sample gas. Measured values are displayed with their inspired and end-tidal values. With these features along with a standard 12” active matrix color screen with mainstream and/or sidestream EtCO2, cardiac output and non volatile patient memory, with graphic tabular trending, you have a monitor that should be very expensive... but is actually surprisingly inexpensive.
