The Ohmeda 3700 pulse oximeter has an LCD display with backlight and contrast adjustment. Waveform and heart rate are displayed in monochrome. The Ohmeda 3700 pulse oximeter displays SpO2 level, heart rate, and a pleth waveform. Changes in SpO2 level are indicated audibly by a change in the pitch of the pulse tone. This monitor has user-selectable alarm limits, can operate off a rechargeable internal battery and comes with a new re-usable finger sensor.
