Receiving timely, high-quality and accurate ECG results is critical for patient care. The Burdick Eclipse Premier allows you to receive orders, instantly transmit test results and make a diagnosis quicker with its superior wired and wireless network data sharing capabilities. Workload is further streamlined with easy-to-use barcode capabilities that ensure patient identification and documentation is consistent, accurate and reliable.

Choice of filter settings reduces muscle artifact and ambient noise

  • AccuPrint quality assurance monitor restricts ECG printout when lead artifact is present

  • Pacemaker algorithm accommodates patients with various pacemakers

  • Beat-to-beat, R-R intervals may be printed on reports

  • Choice of QTc calculation formulas, includes Hodges, Bazett, Framingham and Fridericia

  • Password protection for accessing patient directory

  • Compatible with FAA transmission requirements

Superior ECG Analysis and Interpretation

The Burdick Eclipse Premier ECG utilizes the proven University of Glasgow algorithm, (formerly known as the Glasgow Royal Infirmary algorithm) for interpretation, providing a silent second opinion. Unlike some competitive products, which limit algorithm criteria to age, the University of Glasgow algorithm, developed in the 1970s and continuously updated, bases its analysis on five clinically significant criteria: gender, age, race, medication and classification. This is critical because ECG results for patients with different demographic profiles and medical conditions can vary greatly.

Practical Design for Ease of Use

Every feature of the Eclipse Premier streamlines workflow and provides practical, reliable functionality. These time-saving features include:
  • Color active matrix display with 90° tilt/swivel screen

  • One-touch STAT ECGs and other keyboard shortcuts

  • High resolution thermal printer with 8.5" x 11" Z-fold paper

  • Intuitive menu selections and directory storage of up to 100 ECGs

  • Operates on AC power or long-life NiCad battery (included)

  • Compact flash card slot enables software upgrades at an affordable price

  • Compatible with SCP-ECG management systems

System Design Helps Improve Workflow

The Eclipse Premier hospital-grade interpretive electrocardiograph provides simultaneous 12-lead acquisition. The system displays 3, 4, or 6 channels of ECG in automatic mode or manual mode, and 3, 6, or 12 channels during rhythm recording on an easy-to-read, adjustable 12-lead color active matrix display. It uses industry-standard wired Ethernet and wireless 802.11b and g. It also offers wristband barcode scanning for accurate patient identification.

Proven Performance and Quality

With a host of unique features, the Eclipse Premier produces superior quality ECGs, saving time for more patient care. Harmonic filter eliminates baseline artifact

Integrates with Pyramis Data Management System

An optional communications package enables integration with the Pyramis Data Management Systems. Download orders and upload test results via wired and wireless Ethernet, modem or serial connection. Pyramis provides online storage, retrieval, editing, confirmation and distribution of 12-lead ECGs as well as 12-leads from the bedside, stress and Holter reports. Pyramis centralizes diagnostic cardiology data and enables hospital-wide and remote access from the office or home.
