LME Hemodialysis & Chemotherapy Chair  Product Detail
Model: LME-DA-02

The LME-DA-02 Dialysis Chair is used for dialysis, blood-cell separation, periton dialysis, plasmapheresis diagnosis, oncology, chemotherapy and rehabilitation.

LME-DA-02 dialysis chair requires 40% less space than a hospital bed and therefore allows better and more functional use of space.

The chair consists of 3 main upholstered parts: back, seat and legs. The back-rest, leg-rest, trendelenburg and up & down positions are all adjustable by 4 DC actuators and an electronic hand set so the table can be used for different purposes. The up & down movement is done vertically with the help of a special bearing system that does not cause any position change.

An optional dry battery automatically works during a power cut.

All mattresses (back, seat, legs, head and arms) can be removed easily for cleaning, disinfecting and replacement without using any tools. The mattress is covered with a special vinlex material which has a long-lasting, easy cleaning, waterproof and antibacterial features. The mattress is made from viscose-elastic foam known also as memory foam (a type of an open cell, flexible polyurethane foam). It is a body heat and a body weight sensitive material: contours the body shape, distributes the body pressure over a wide area and besides supplying a significant comfortable sitting, allows the blood circulation. When the body is positioned on viscoelastic foam, the foam progressively takes the shape of the body, and after the weight is removed, the foam slowly reassumes its initial shape. Patients can also benefit from the foam's capacity to redistribute weight and surface pressure, potentially reducing decubitus ulcers (bed sores) caused by aggravated pressure on areas such as, hips, elbows, the back of the head and beneath heels. If pressure is not relieved through a body movement or technology, such as a viscoelastic foam surface, body vessels may compress, inhibiting circulation and possibly irritate the skin tissue.

Viscoelastic foam is very sensitive to temperature. If the temperature drops, the foam tends to become firmer or even stiff. Above about 30º the foam gets softer. Recovery rate has been positively correlated to heat; as the foam increases in temperature, pliability and compression and recovery rates increase. That is why the foam is used in hospital beds. Not only does viscoelastic foam react to temperature but also to humidity. It tends to soften in more humid conditions. It is also breathable. The open-celled structure allows it to self-ventilate, so moisture disperses which is good for arthritic conditions and for reducing skin irritation.

The foam has antibacterial properties and has a very low resilience rate, with no bounce. Conventional HR foams are two dimensional (density and hardness can be varied); viscoelastic foams are four dimensional, with hardness, density, temperature and time effects. All these factors make memory foams comfortable as well as healthy.

Steel frame is covered with galvanize and an electrostatic powder coating in order to prevent corrosion. After this process, the frame is covered with antibacterial and easily cleanable ABS plastics. Thus, an elegance appearance and firmness is obtained.

Arms are made of 2 parts; one small part (the elbow) is stable and the front part that can be moved up & down and left & right At the same time, the arms work together with the backrest and keep parallel to the ground, so optimal placement can be gained.

An additional detachable footrest prevents cramps during a treatment and can be adjusted according to the height of the patient, so both, a very small and a very tall person can have a comfortable treatment.

The head part of the chair is also detachable and the height of this part can be adjusted as needed.
