The three position vertical side rails are easy to use, and provide maximum patient security. The dual pedestal design provides maximum stability for patient transport, treatment and recovery. To ensure patient comfort, the patient surface can be adjusted to a variable range of positions, including stretcher height adjustment and manual backrest adjustment. Additionally the stretcher is provided with extra high 17.75" (451 mm) side rails and end rails for the enhanced safety of pediatric patients. Easy-rolling casters provide full mobility and maneuverability. Features: Central brake and steer system with 8" (203mm) casters has three modes of operation: steer, neutral, and brake. Brake and steer levers of this system are available at all four corners of the stretcher base. The hands free hydraulic positioning and adjustment system features foot pedals located at both sides of the stretcher base. Pedals control height adjustment as well as 10° Trendelenburg or reverse Trendelenburg positon. The thermoformed base cover is seamless and easy to clean. Dual pedestal base construction ensures patient stability. The adjustable patient surface is provided with a stainless steel finish. A manual backrest allows for positioning adjustment between 0-50°. A 3" (76 mm) non-conductive mattress pad is a standard feature of this stretcher.
